After the instant selling out of the first Corteiz and Nike project, the two line up for another cold edition of the Air Max 95. The new “Pink Beam” edition dropped in New York on the 21st of March, with US fans crowded around a huge Nike-sponsored Billboard, waiting for it to reveal the drop-off location. With crowds gathered in anticipation, the coordinates “40.722283, -73.980167” flashed up on screen, sending a frenzy of Corteiz fans rushing to the location via any form of transport available. Owner @clint419 was then waiting at the allocated Bodega, where people queued in order to grab themselves a pair of the “Pink Beam” Air Max 95. With that wild marketing stunt now over, people are turning their attention to the UK release which is taking place on the 24th of March.

Similar to the first edition, Corteiz branding is embroidered onto the toe and heel quarter, with the brand’s Alcatraz tongue logo here in pink. The signature Air Max 95 panelling is decorated in a move from navy to black, with the thick netting around the eyestays that we saw on the first edition. Once again, the Air units match the branding accents, here in a bright pink that provides this Air Max 95 collaboration edition with a huge pop of colour. The last time we saw pink look this good on an AM95, it must have been the “Pink Foam” from 2020. The lining is again kitted out in camouflage, this time in a woodland snow pattern that complements the cold tones of the upper. As per the first edition, the same numbered coordinates are placed on the 3M spine, pointing to none other than the City of ‘Lundun’.

This Second “Pink Beam” iteration will drop via the Corteiz website at 7PM UK time on March the 24th. Make sure to patent the password and clock in on time because this Corteiz Air Max 95 won’t be about for long. With the extra added hype from the New York bodega release and this pair being more wearable out of the two, we’re expecting even more hype this time around.

The « Pink Beam » also dropped as a SNKRS pass on the 24th of March, with users given a 15 minute window in order to secure their pairs. Collection will take place from Nike Town London on the 25th, however, if you weren’t lucky enough to get access then you’ll just have to live through other peoples collection stories on Instagram! Make sure to tune into this website where we’ll make sure to keep you up to date with the latest information!
