The Nike Air Max 90 Iron Grey is a brand-new rendition of the classic silhouette that celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. The AM90 is dressed in a stealthy colourway that showcases predominately black, and is then accentuated with shades of grey, a white midsole and laser orange accents.
The retro-looking model was first introduced way back in 1990 as Nike’s flagship lifestyle pair, and has been well received ever since, acting as the blank canvas to hundreds of high-heat collaborations and solid-looking general release colourways.
The heavily panelled upper is crafted from a mix of synthetics, leathers and technical mesh, portraying a functional aesthetic and well-rounded look. The cropped Swoosh that’s typical of the AM90 makes an appearance on both the lateral and medial sides, while other signature features such as the cassette surround at the Air unit and Air Max logo embellished onto the heel counter also make an appearance.
